My Feelings About Movies

I did not enjoy movies as a little kid. It was long and usually boring and made me sleep as a indignant little child who did not accept that anything could be fun other than playing games. But however in the recent years after I got a Netflix subscription, I really changed and started watching more and more of them. This site will be about my favorite and least favorite movies.

Crazy Rich Asians

It is the summer of 2018, and I am dragged to the theaters with my mom and brother because my mom really wanted to watch a specific movie she saw a trailer of. I tried to refuse but just as you might have thought, I was forced. And to my surprise, I was genuinely impressed and intrigued. I loved the movie so much, and it is still one of my favorites to this day. I highly recommend it.

Inside out

I watched this actually before I liked movies in general, it was always an exception to my heart. It is a heartwarming classic that is family friendly and comedic to all ages. The animation and graphics are all so surreal along with the stunning color pallete. It is just simply funny, entertaining, and tear duct exhausting- what I call a quality movie.

Secret Life of Pets 2

To be honest, I have never watched the first one, but I will assume it is better because I honestly disliked this one. It had mediocre humor OR tension and was just in general boring. It was something you feel like you have seen before- with a very cliche message and some clear errors in the animation graphics. All in all, it was just a mediocre movie that was dissapointing.

Frozen 2

The original Frozen was a classic Disney movie with an outstanding message and an all in all a very top notch movie. I remember loving it as a kid and thinking about it all the time. When news of Frozen 2 came, I was really excited because it was really nostalgic to me and to see it 7 years later from a little kid and then to a teen, I was just all in all really hyped for it. When I watched it, I thought it was intriguing. I actually really enjoyed it, because it was empowering and sweet and had some very nice OSTs that would be perfect for kids to sing along to. It really broke the stereotypes that all sequels are terrible- because it was just really enjoyable and funny on numerous levels.

RATATOUILLE

Ratatouille is probably my favorite childhood movie- it was emotional, empowering, funny, and all in all just awesome. It was touching and my family tells me baby me enjoying it very much and jumping up and down when I heard it won an Oscar. I really recommend it, and everything about it is so artsy and comedic at the same time, you will really be shocked. I literally watched it as a 3 year old and never agaim and still have bits of the song and scenes stuck in my head- that really says a lot.
